Please help supporting Daniel to fight cancer
Donation protected
Meet Daniel, our Theater Technician at Epworth Freemasons Hospital, who has been working with us more than five years. He is a wonderful colleague and a father of two lovely kids. Right now, he's facing cancer, and we are here to help.
Daniel is an exceptional employee who consistently goes above and beyond in his role. His dedication and professionalism are truly commendable. We are fortunate to have him as a colleague, and his hard work does not go unnoticed.
Today, he needs us. This support will not only assist in covering the costs of his immunotherapy and radiotherapy treatments but also provide much-needed help to his family and his young children.
Daniel has been diagnosed with chondrosarcoma in his hip. Chondrosarcoma is a rare type of cancer that usually begins in the bones. Treatment involves surgery but, unfortunately, surgery has been ruled out due to metastasis to his lungs.
This type of cancer is mostly resistant to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Daniel has tested positive to a gene mutation that enables him to do a trial of immunotherapy but that is not covered under the pharmaceutical benefit scheme. Therefore, this trial is completely self-funded. And comes at a cost of $100,000 for 12 months of medication.
Your donation matters, no matter the amount. It is a way to show Daniel that he's not alone, that we are always with him just like he has been with us. Each contribution is a piece of support that adds up to something powerful.
Let's stand together as colleagues and friends, showing that our unity can change lives. Your generosity might be the thing that turns things around for Daniel. Please think about donating and being part of this journey to bring hope and healing back into Daniel's life.
We deeply appreciate your compassionate contribution.
