Please help support Yuè’s dental surgery!!

Hi everyone,

I recently adopted the sweetest cat, Yuè, and she’s quickly become the light of my life as an emotional support kitty. I’ve done everything I can to give her a safe, healthy, and loving home, but during a routine wellness checkup, the vet gave me the heartbreaking news that Yuè has advanced periodontitis, severe gum disease (the step after gingivitis) that requires urgent tooth extractions, as to keep as many teeth as possible.

As a new cat parent, I feel so guilty for not noticing any signs earlier, as I thought it was normal for her to lick her mouth after eating and drinking. She’s always been such a happy and affectionate kitty, so I never imagined she might be in pain. Hearing that her condition could worsen to spread throughout her bloodstream and then affect other organs broke my heart. I want to do everything I can to make her comfortable and healthy again, but the cost of her treatment between exams, dental surgery, and the medication is really impeding my ability to get the care she needs, as a college student.

The estimate for her care is about $2,500. I’m sincerely asking for your support to help me cover the expenses and give Yuè the treatment that she needs to live a long, happy life.
