My name is Robin Wiley. I got Windsor when he was just a little pup. He could practically fit in the palm of my hands. He is a very active dog. He loves to run, jump, and play fetch. About two weeks ago, he jumped off the bed and let out a painful howl. At that point, he started limping around, not using his left hind leg.

Windsor is 6 years old and still extremely active - he wants to be but can't with his injury. The vet says he has torn his left CCL ligament and needs extracapsular repair surgery. The surgery has a 90% success rate.

The recovery time is long, but eventually, Windsor should be almost back to normal after a few months.
