Our kitty Dot needs to have her cancerous tail amputated, as soon as possible. It was found she has a very aggressive form of skin cancer that has inflicted a growing area at the base of her tail. Our veterinarian and the vet surgeon specialist both recommended that this happen as soon as possible as we have all literally been watching the horrifying spot grow and get worse and worse over the last couple of weeks. So we have an appointment scheduled for tail amputation surgery April 30th.
We have had several animal related emergencies the past 4 months, and a very expensive plumbing emergency just last week that have unfortunately left us dry. (It has been an excruciating 2026 already)
We know our sweet girl needs this surgery as soon as possible but are terrified because he did not have enough funds to pay for it as of yet.
We have already sold all of Lonnie's comic books and record collection and anything else that we could think of to try to raise this money, but we're still coming up short.
If you could please pass this fundraiser on to anybody you can think of that might be able to help us. We would be extremely grateful, more than you know!
We have not had a lot of foster and rescue-cat medical ailments that have been treatable as of late, but this is one that we can actually help save her if they can just cut out the cancer as soon as possible, before it spreads.
Thank you for reading this and for supporting us with our lifelong quest to help these sweet and innocent rescue kitties in our care.
