Hi everyone and welcome to our page.

My name is Rob and I'm a hard working wall and floor tiler by day and fitness enthusiast always.

I'm known in the Obstacle Racing Community as The Spartan Tradie. My passions are Spartan Race, Obstacle Racing, sweating through a Fitstop workout, trail running, climbing mountains, hiking through nature and generally anything to do with health, fitness and adventure.

I'm a youthful 40 year old guy and have recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer. There is a malignant tumour in my splenic flexure and we need to get it out of there. Urgent surgery is required in the coming weeks.

My wife, Rachael and I, have decided to start up a page to help us throughout my cancer surgery and recovery period.

Fortunately, in February last year, we were lucky enough achieve our dream and buy our first home together. We've settled in well and we are trying to start a family, but this setback does put a bit of strain on the finances while I'm out of work recovering from the surgery.

We are looking for financial support to help us throughout this time. While I am hopefully recovering well from the surgery, we'll still be needing to keep on top of our mortgage and other bills, so here's where we are asking for your help.

Help me overcome this next big obstacle and help us through this challenging time. Hopefully it'll be just like any other Spartan Race and we'll make it through stronger and tougher than before.
