- Yesterday, my brother-in-law, Toby Sanders, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident, in Odessa, Texas, that left him with multiple broken bones and in need of several emergency surgeries. Because of his injuries, he was taken the UMC in Lubbock, Texas. While we're incredibly grateful that he's alive, his road to recovery is going to be long, painful, and expensive.
Toby is now facing weeks — possibly months — of rehabilitation and healing. He won't be able to return to work anytime soon, and unfortunately, his wife is currently unemployed and now taking on the role of full-time caregiver. With no income coming in, the medical bills and household expenses are quickly piling up.
We’re raising funds to help cover:
• Ongoing medical expenses not covered by insurance
• Essential home bills (mortgage, utilities, food)
• Transportation to and from rehab appointments
• Any adaptive needs for home recovery
Toby and April are one of the most generous, kind-hearted people you could ever meet. They would never ask for help themselves, but right now, they truly need our support. Any amount you can give — big or small — will make a meaningful difference and help take some of the weight off their shoulders as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting.
