It goes without saying that Connie Herron (a.k.a. “Tiny C”) is celebrated and much beloved by those of us who have known her both as a great friend and talented coworker through the years. Let’s now please join together and support Connie in her time of need!

After enduring significant abdominal pain throughout late March, Connie received the diagnosis no one wants to hear in early April: peritoneal carcinomatosis – and with an almost inevitable need for immediate major surgery to remove tumors from her abdomen and (likely) ovaries. Despite regular screenings due to her family’s cancer history, the situation was unfortunately not caught early on.

Connie will learn more about her treatment plan soon and we’ll post updates here as we know more, but there is immediate urgency. She is self employed currently and lacks sufficient medical coverage so substantial bills are already starting to stack up. The funds raised here will help cover Connie's medical bills and procedures, including fluid drainage, surgery to remove tumors, and other necessary treatments and followups.
