As many of you may have heard, my brother-in-law, Andrew Tobin, was involved in a very serious car accident on Thursday, July 4 while he was on his way to work at the Donkin Mine in Sydney, NS. At this point, we do not know what happened - only the outcome.
As a result of the accident, he sustained major internal injuries and was airlifted to Halifax, NS. He will likely be hospitalized for weeks and his recovery and rehabilitation will take months, if not years. It will be a long, hard road. Quite frankly, he is lucky to be alive.
In a moment, my sister's life was turned on its head. She and their children are currently in Halifax by Andrew's side, as are other family members.
Their life is now on pause, as is their work and source of income. With two children, a mortgage, and bills, they are going to struggle in the upcoming months while they are away from their home. I ask anyone to donate anything that they can in order to help them during this difficult time. We truly appreciate all of your prayers, well wishes, and donations. Thank you so much from all of us.
