Please Help Support the Stanfield Family

My name is Angela Sproule. On Friday, March 25, 2022, my father and our family received news that no family wants to hear. My father, Earl Stanfield, was told he has blood cancer. Today, he had received a bone marrow aspiration, and from his blood work, it was determined to be an aggressive form of suspected Leukemia. We have hours to pack up what we can and rush to Halifax, where my father and mother will stay for at least a month so my father can receive aggressive treatment.

A month without work, having to pay regular bills and hotel stays prompts me to reach out to the community for help. It would mean one less stressor to consume an already desperate time.

My father is a caring, generous man who would give his last to someone in need. If you can donate, please do. If not, please say a prayer.

UPDATE: Dad was given a preliminary diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He will be starting chemotherapy (3 +7) tomorrow and will be here in Halifax for at least 6 weeks. When discharged he will have to come back for treatment, but as of now are uncertain what this will look like. 

Thank you to everyone who has helped out thus fae, either financially or with prayers and support. Dad, Mom and the entire family are overwhelmed with the support everyone has given. It helps get him through and will continue to for this hard journey he has begun.
