On August 15th 2025, Jordan and Adam Fester (along with brand new big sister Payton!) were excited to welcome their beautiful baby boy Kix Craig into the world. Sadly, what should have been a joyous time of bonding and celebration quickly became a terrifying ordeal as Kix experienced medical complications soon after birth, leading to his ongoing hospitalization.

After many scares and sleepless nights along with a whole lot of testing, doctors recently diagnosed baby Kix with a condition called “Hemimegalencephaly.” This condition is unfortunately going to require brain surgery once Kix is a little bit older and stronger - even though he has already demonstrated that he’s a fighter!

In order to ensure Kix receives the best possible care, he will be undergoing treatment at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). At this stage, it is expected that Kix will have to remain at CHOP for recovery with a unknown length of time.

As you can imagine, this has been a lot for Jordan and Adam to process. Every free moment they have is being spent at the hospital with Kix and meeting with his medical team to plan for next steps. And, as we all know, bills and expenses do not stop showing up even when the unimaginable happens and our attention is needed elsewhere.

To that end, we are asking for all those who are able, to please help support the Fester family financially as they focus on their number one priority at the moment, which is ensuring Kix receives the best support and medical care necessary - with his Mom and Dad right by his side.
