Dear Family, Friends and Kind Strangers,
With heavy hearts, we come to you seeking support during this incredibly difficult time. On June 5th 2024, our beloved, Stuart Abel, passed away unexpectedly, leaving a void in our lives that can never be filled. He was not just a Son/Brother/Husband/Father/Uncle/Grandfather/Friend, but a beacon of light, love, and laughter to all who knew him.
Our Dad was always so loving and caring, always making you laugh and he was the kind of person who would always know what to say at the right time. There is not enough words to describe the feeling and true impact he made on our lives, and it is very hard to describe him in a short story, because to us, he was larger than life. Our Dad loved sports, both watching and playing, along with classic movies and music. He was avid singer that would belt out some Frank Sinatra at any time. Our Dad also loved classic cars, and he was a proud owner of a purple 1967 Pontiac Firebird that he would take to car shows and loved atmosphere of it all. He had so many great friends that he cared for and remained close with them since grammar school. He always knew how to tell a great story and we were always eager to hear more of his adventures in life. Our parents were married for 37 long happy years and he always cherished the relationship they built. He was fortunate to have three grandchildren, that he loved very much and he would light up every time they came over. He was that typical grandpa that would stop and play no matter what was going on, and spoil them. Whether it was grilling out in the backyard, talking on the phone, singing a tune, sitting by the campfire or just hanging out, he had a way of making everyone feel special.
As we navigate the pain of this loss, we are faced with the daunting task of arranging his final farewell. Funeral expenses are a burden we hadn't anticipated, and we find ourselves in need of assistance to give our Dad the dignified send-off he deserves.
Your generosity in this difficult time would mean the world to us. Any amount you can contribute will go directly towards covering funeral costs, allowing us to focus on honoring our Dad’s memory without the added financial stress.
We understand that times are tough for many, and if you're unable to contribute financially, your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support are equally appreciated. Additionally, sharing this fundraiser with your network would help us reach more people who may be able to assist.
Thank you from the depths of our hearts for considering our plea. Together, let's ensure that Stu’s legacy lives on in the beautiful memories he left behind.
With immense gratitude,
The Abel Family.
