Please help support Rose's battle against cancer

My name is Brian. I have a very good friend and coworker named Rose who is a 65-year-old grandmother of a 15-year-old grandson. Rose is the only caregiver of this young man and amidst all of this, her first concern is for her family.

Recently, Rose was diagnosed with stage 2 colorectal cancer. During her scans, they also found a blocked artery which will also require immediate attention. She will be undergoing multiple rounds of chemo and radiation for the cancer for an undetermined amount of time. Doctors are highly concerned with the artery blockage but are beginning treatment for the cancer first.

We have put a starting goal of $5,000.00 as Rose will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. She also does not drive and depends on Uber when affordable, buses, and rides from loved ones when possible. This also will hopefully help to cover food, rent, and necessities during this time for her and her grandson.

Rose is part of a large team of coworkers and is dearly loved by all. We are praying for Rose continually and are starting this page for Rose in hopes of taking her mind off the financial stressors while undergoing treatments and healing so she can put all of her time, energy, and strength into her recovery.
