Support Reyu Kros, recent paraplegic!

June 7th 2024 my son Reyu Zane Kros (29 years old) was in a horrible motorcycle accident! He was taken by life flight to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden Utah. His injuries are severe and will require many surgeries and a very long recovery! Reyu is an experienced rider and is alive because he was wearing a helmet! Reyu has 2 fractured vertebra, a skull fracture, several broken ribs, his right arm is broken in several places, right ankle fracture, left wrist fracture, and a fractured sternum. Reyu will be in

the hospital for many weeks and need at least 3 surgeries. The medical bills are going to be astronomical! Reyu has an amazing sense of humor before his first spinal surgery, when the surgeon asked if he had any questions Reyu said “am I still handsome?”. 2 neuro surgeons worked for 8 hours to stabilize his spine. There is no way to know if Reyu will regain any use of his legs. As of now he has no feeling from mid chest down!

Reyu will need extensive physical therapy once he is released from the hospital. In addition there is accessibility changes that will be made in the house: changing bathroom fixtures and doorways to accommodate a wheelchair, adjustable bed, ramp for the front door etc.

Reyu has 3 sisters, a girlfriend, a brother in law and mom and dad that adore him! Plus lots of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends!
