Hey everyone, this is Petra. She was admitted to the emergency vet on 5/31/25 at 6:30am. She is currently on a 8-16 hour stay to monitor her condition and provide her with continuing care, however she might need to stay longer. They are administering various tests, have her in an oxygen chamber, and are monitoring her vitals. There is no definitive answer at this time, they believe she may have thrown a clot which could be related to a heart condition. The vet team said despite all of this she has been an absolute angel, and everyone there already loves her. I am setting this up on behalf of my friend Claire. If you have the pleasure of knowing her count yourself lucky. If not then I will be the first person to tell you that she is the most beautiful person inside and out, and I could not be more grateful to have her as a friend. Petra means the world to her, and there is nothing she wouldn't do for her. Please help us raise some funds to cover the cost of Petra's hospital stay and medical treatment.
