Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
Our mom, Nancy, has been courageously battling rectal cancer for nearly two years, and today we’re stepping into a new and more intense phase of that fight.
If you know our mom, you know she is the heart of our family. She’s the one who shows up, lifts others up, and holds steady in faith no matter what comes. Watching her walk through this with strength and hope has been both inspiring and incredibly hard.
Recently, we faced a major setback. After pursuing a specialized treatment option, our insurance gave a firm “no” to covering that care. Because of this, we are regrouping and moving forward with a local oncology team and a more aggressive treatment plan.
In the coming weeks, she will begin six weeks of combined chemotherapy and radiation, followed by several more months of chemotherapy. From there, we will make decisions about surgery.
This next phase brings new physical challenges and a significant financial burden, even with insurance. There are many essential aspects of her care that simply aren’t covered.
As a family, we want to focus on what matters most: supporting our mom, keeping her strong, and surrounding her with love and encouragement. But the financial weight of this journey is real, and we can’t carry it alone.
If you feel led to give, your support will go directly toward her care and help ease this burden in a very tangible way. Every gift truly matters.
If we are blessed with more than what is needed, we will continue our commitment to pay it forward to other families facing similar battles.
Most of all, we ask for your prayers, your hope, and your belief with us. We trust that God is still writing our mom’s story, and we are holding onto faith, strength, and the power of community every step of the way.
Thank you for loving our mom and standing with our family during this time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Tiana and Daniel
