Please help our brother!!!

Please help our brother Trey McDermott!!! Our brother and nephew were in a horrible accident on Sunday night, February 11th, 2024 in Sarasota, FL. Trey was headed home during the Super Bowl halftime show and was hit by a drunk driver. Kai was fortunate to make it out with just a few scratches. The officer on the scene said that if it weren't for the car seat and how Kai was buckled it could have been a lot worse. However, Trey was not as lucky and is currently in the ICU with a C7 Spinal Cord Injury. He is able to move his fingers and toes, which is a great sign, but is unable to move his head/neck. He is waiting to meet with the neurosurgeon to see if he will need surgery, and will be out of work for at least 4 weeks if not longer. Trey is a single dad who only has one income. He is a tile installer and does manual labor, so being out of work is going to create some financial concerns. He will also need to pay for extra care for Kai while he recovers from his injuries. Unfortunately, Trey does not have health insurance, so he is also going to have a lot of medical bills. The other driver did have insurance, but that will not go into affect right away, so any help is much appreciated!! I will keep you all posted as he goes through his recovery process.
