Please help support Ollie Miles and family

Hello all,

As you know Ollie Miles is in Brisbane fighting a huge battle with an extremely rare form of Leukemia of which less than 150 children in Australia, the USA, UK and a number of other countries presently have. He has been accepted as part of his treatment to join a world wide trial to help learn and combat this terrible disease.

He will be in Brisbane for at least 6 to 9 months and although is hopeful of leaving hospital this week, he needs to remain close by and visit the hospital at least three times per week for chemo and other treatments. This obviously all comes at a huge cost to the family.

Ollie has a big fight on his hands, but with the support of his family, friends, St Brendan’s school mates and the Yeppoon footy club, we have his back and we will see him return to Yeppoon as soon as possible.

We are raising funds to help Ollie and the family through this time and the next few months. Funds raised will be managed by a small group representing the community, Yeppoon Swans and St Brendan’s College.

All funds will kindly go through The Real Group Charity Foundation which is a registered charity for financial purposes, and we thank Karla and her team for their support.

Funds will go toward accommodation, travel, non-funded medical, and any other costs that we encounter, and you can be rest assured, it will be only to the personal benefit of Ollie and the family in its entirety.

The family will be in accommodation provided by us and this fund from the 27th November.
