Tia Fairchild’s recovery fund from double stroke

I never thought I would actually have to make a go fund me page. I received a call Wednesday morning informing me that my sister had suffered a stroke and was at foothills hospital.

When I got there they said it was possibly a mild stroke.  She could talk fine and everything. She got up to go to the washroom, when she came back things took a turn for the worse... the medication they gave her to stop the initial stroke had then caused her to have another stroke, but this time it caused bleeding in the brain, which also caused swelling.  

She was immediately moved to the ICU where she currently is. She is sedated right now as she has to have a breathing tube since she cannot breathe on her own.  

She has to stay sedated until the swelling can come down which they said could take up to 7 weeks.

She now has permanent brain damage, she will have to learn how to walk and talk again.  
My sister is one of the most kind and caring people you would have ever met.  She is anamazing sister, and a amazing aunt to my son.

She is young ,only 32 and was healthy.

They still do not know why she had the initial stroke and are still trying to figure it out. 

 I know this is a hard time for all of Alberta financial wise so I understand if people can’t give anything, some kind words or prayers are still definitely appreciated.

Right now I am raising money for parking/travel/medical expenses/time
off work/covering her bills and anything she will Need after for her recovery and anything else that she will need to get her back to normal. I don’t want her to be worried about finances, while she is recovering.  

I also want to make people aware, make sure you listen to you body. She had extremely bad migraines prior, she didn’t have the right I formation for her emergency contact’s either. We didn’t even know till two hours after she was in the hospital.
