This is not easy to write, and it’s not something my mom would ever ask for herself. Recently, her cancer has progressed, and she is now facing additional treatment, including chemotherapy and radiation. While she continues to face this with strength and determination, the reality is that medical care brings expenses that go far beyond what insurance covers—travel, medications, ongoing care, and day-to-day needs that don’t pause just because life gets harder.
