It has been a month since I reached out for help. Folks have been so incredibly kind. Thank you all so very much.

My health has improved a little...I have a ways to go. I am staying hopeful.

I truly hope everyone is doing well, and had a good Christmas.

I, unfortunately, find myself to be in a situation that I desperately need help with.

As most of you know, 3 years ago I moved to Chippewa Falls to live with my boyfriend Tim to have a fresh start, build a future together. I knew when I moved that it wasn't going to be easy, and there were many hurdles to overcome. As time has gone on, the emotional, mental, physical stressors, as well as awful living conditions, have taken a detrimental toll on me physically and mentally. I am no longer physically or mentally able to do what I was once able to. Tim has become frustrated with this.

When the furnace went out at his house, he moved into the employee's housing at the farm and told me I 'needed to go find some place to live'. (His house was already beyond repair/unsafe from decades of neglect. Even if funds were available, it would not make sense to put a new furnace in a house that should be condemned.)

Shortly after the furnace broke, the car that Tim purchased from his Dad's estate had the engine go out, beyond repair. It has to go to the salvage yard.

Tim has a working truck, and a place to live at his farm.

I, on the other hand, need to find permanent housing and either repair my vehicle or purchase a reliable used one. (We parked my vehicle as it needed a new radiator and the engine light came on.)

I am blessed in that a dear friend I have known since gradeschool has offered to let me stay with her until I acquire permanent housing. Her house is safe, clean and comfortable.

What do I need funds for?

- Moving expenses (gas, manpower).

- Storage locker for my belongings.

- Rent payment at my current location.

- Security deposit & first month's rent at a permanent location.

- Repairs for my vehicle, or purchase of a reliable used vehicle.

I am basically starting over from scratch.

I am looking for employment that I am physically and mentally able to handle. I am also looking into resources to help with my needs listed.

Goals:

- Transition to a safe, clean, independent living situation.

- Heal physically, emotionally and mentally. Hopefully regain as much of my physical and mental health as possible.

- Once established, settled and healed, pay back everyone's generosity.
