On April 4, 2019 My mom Michele was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had spread to the liver. Doctors estimated 6 months or more with chemo. The news of this was devastating to family and friends. Michele and family have always been greatly generous to everyone and anyone that end up crossing paths. Since I have known Michele in middle school she has treated me as one of her own, at a time giving me a place to live rent free when I was out of work. She is always looking out for us kids in any way possible. She truly is a beautiful soul.
This is a burden that most people could never imagine going through. Michele, Mike, Nathan and Brynn are so strong and selfless that they would never ask anyone to help out like this, its just not them. In fact Michelle would probably sock me a good one for doing this. However I am asking for your help in taking a financial worry off their back. This will allow them to spend valuable time and to care for Michele as she goes through her battle.
Simple things like paying for groceries, electric bills, remembering to sleep and eat are not easy at this time while 24/7 care and restless nights are necessary. Getting up and going to work becomes harder and harder when your loved ones health is in jeopardy. Everyday life is no longer easy.
Our family greatly appreciates all the thoughts and prayers that everyone has given to us in the last few weeks. If there is ever any questions or concerns that anyone does not feel comfortable with asking feel free to direct them to myself.
The funds will be used for time off, paying bills, covering hospice and medical costs. A check will be given directly to the family by myself weekly.
