Please Help Support Melissa and Bella in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Melissa Vanover-Kuhns was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer in April. Since then, she underwent a double mastectomy in July and will begin an aggressive four-month-long chemotherapy regimen in September, followed by total breast reconstruction.
Two months after Melissa’s diagnosis, her daughter Bella was involved in a motorcycle accident that resulted in multiple traumas and two surgeries. Bella has been unable to walk and has been out of work since the accident; she will not be able to return until she is cleared by her physician. Bella was not at fault, and since Florida does not require motorcycle insurance, her medical bills will fall under her parents' health insurance.
Many who know Melissa understand that she always goes out of her way to care for others. This has taken a significant toll on her, both mentally and physically. Now, it’s time for her to focus on healing. The past few months have been especially hard on her and her family, and the upcoming months will be equally challenging.
I am asking if there is anything you can contribute to lighten the load on this family; it would be greatly appreciated. Bella will experience a loss of income, and there will be numerous medical bills. The family will also have to cover expenses for special diets, copays, out-of-pocket medical bills, and medications. Any amount you can give is deeply appreciated.
I will personally say a prayer for each and every person who donates. Please also remember to pray for Scott, Melissa, and Bella during this stressful time of healing.
