Please Help Support Melissa After Her Tragic Loss

My name is Heather and I am starting this GoFundMe for our childhood friend, Melissa Evans.

A few short weeks ago, her entire world was turned upside down. Her partner of the past five years, Kevin Pepper, was tragically killed in a single car accident. He was on his way to a specialist in Philadelphia to treat a traumatic brain injury he received as a carjacking a few years before. At the time of the accident, Kevin wasn't able to work and was fighting for disability from his carjacking attack.

Money was already tight and bills and the mortgage were coming past due. On top of all this, Kevin was driving Melissa's car that fateful night. The insurance company totaled it out, but for substantially less than she owes on it.

Melissa is now a single mother of a beautiful 13 year old girl and receiving zero financial help. Her and her daughter are at risk of losing everything.

I know money is tight for everyone right now... but every little bit helps. Whatever you can spare, no matter how small will make such a huge difference in the life of our friend.
