If you’ve had the privilege of knowing Marina, you know she has a rare and beautiful way of moving through life. She’s the kind of person who finds joy in life’s simple moments by creating, caring, and giving to others. Whether she’s shaping pottery with her hands, building something beautiful from wood, spending time outdoors, or caring for animals as a veterinary technician, Marina pours her whole heart into everything she does.

Her greatest joys are the life she has built with her husband of five years, Nico, and the light of their lives, Brisa. She is fiercely loyal to the people she loves, endlessly compassionate, and one of those rare people who is always the first to show up for a friend in need or an animal without a voice. Her kindness and selfless spirit have touched countless lives.

At just 34 years old, Marina’s world was turned upside down by a diagnosis no one expects to hear: Stage IV colorectal cancer. She is currently undergoing additional testing to determine the most effective treatment plan.

In an instant, everyday life was replaced with doctor appointments, scans, treatments, difficult decisions, and an uncertain road ahead. Through it all, Marina has faced each day with remarkable courage, supported by Nico, her family, and everyone who loves her.
