We all know that one person who would truly give you the shirt off their back. The one who shows up, no questions asked. For us, and for so many of you, that person was Kim.

It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden loss of a devoted mom, big sister, and proud grandma.

To know Kim was to know her girls. She didn’t just love her daughter Maurissa and her granddaughters Makiyah, Harmonie, and Jazzy. She was the heartbeat of their daily lives. Whether she was cheering the loudest at dance recitals or choir competitions, managing the chaos of school runs, taking them on new adventures, or singing along to Neil Diamond and Bob Marley on car rides to nowhere special, Kim was their constant.

Here is the hard reality we are facing.

Kim was a vital provider for her family. Her passing leaves not only an emotional void that can never be filled but also a frightening financial gap for the household she worked so hard to support.

We are launching this fund to do for Kim what she did for everyone else. We want to show up.
