Help support Kayla and Kamari through these hardships

Hello, my name is Kasey and I am reaching out for your support. Sometimes life throws the toughest curveballs at those who live their entire life through the life they themselves created. A very close friend of mine and her 1 year old daughter, were recently given some of the worst news a mother could receive. After endless visits to the emergency room and multiple appointments with her primary care doctor, Kayla continued to ask for answers as the symptoms and signs of concern continued to grow for the health of her 13 month old daughter, Kamari. Ultimately, Kamari was life flighted to Children’s Hospital where a MRI showed that Kamari had a rare brain tumor which required immediate surgery. Kamari was officially diagnosed with a high grade intracranial mesenchymal tumor. Neurology said it is very rare, especially in children her age. This specific tumor has a high possibility to grow in other spots of her body. The neurosurgeon said he is planning to use a technique that hasn’t been used on anyone her age yet so he will need the 4 weeks to train the others that will be involved in the surgery. Kamari is doing very well despite all the stress from this! Kamari is back to exploring our home has even started taking few steps on her own! Kayla is currently unable to work and the timeline on all of this and continuing to go unpaid has left a lot of financial uncertainty. Kayla is a single mother who has dedicated her life and overall wellbeing to Kamari. I have created this fundraising platform to help, and support Kayla and Kamari in an effort to lessen current and future, financial hardships that come to light. Due to risk of infection, Kamari’s ability to attend daycare or be cared for by outsiders has been limited. All contributions matter and all received will go directly to Kayla as medical and household bills continue to accumulate.
