Our dear friend Julie Sherman Knight is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. In September 2025, Julie was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. She underwent her first surgery on October 14th, expecting to begin radiation a few weeks later. But shortly after, she learned her HER2 results were positive, changing her diagnosis to triple-positive invasive ductal carcinoma and requiring a more aggressive treatment plan.

Doctors later discovered cancer cells were still in the margins, and Julie underwent a second surgery on October 28th. Thankfully, everything was clear — but her journey is far from over.

Julie begins weekly chemotherapy on December 2nd, a 12-week treatment plan that is physically and emotionally demanding. Because of the side effects and intensity, she is unable to work during this time, adding financial stress to an already overwhelming situation.

Julie is strong, resilient, and deeply loved by everyone who knows her. We want her to be able to focus on healing — not on bills or lost income. Your generosity will help lighten her burden in the months ahead.
