July 4th will no longer be thoughts of watching the sky to see fireworks; it will now be a day remembered as a phone call I received that my son was in a horrific accident as a passenger in a side-by-side and was being sent via Mercy Flight to ECMC.
JT’s accident happened so fast while in a fast-moving recreational vehicle that resulted in crashing into a tree, causing multiple injuries that will result in months off work with intense physical therapy. JT sustained a huge blow to the head resulting in two black eyes and thankfully no concussion, dislocated hip, left femur fracture, and left ankle fracture, causing the inability to walk without assistance with a walker, crutches, and wheelchair for distance.
This accident has drastically changed his life, causing a major disruption in not only day-to-day life but also working at a job he loved to pay for his new apartment shared with his girlfriend, Marissa. Vehicle and insurance, utilities, and now out-of-pocket monthly medical just to keep his insurance active from work with minimal disability payments that he absolutely needs more than ever!
We are truly blessed Jeremy’s accident wasn’t as worse as it could have been, and we are grateful to the Lord above for his road to recovery.
Unfortunately, he needs help from the financial toll that this will cause, and I would be truly grateful to each and everyone who would be generous to donate something to lessen this additional burden he didn’t need to bear.
Many thanks, love, and blessings to all of you who donate and continue to send prayers.
