Hello everyone, my name is Betsy, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my husband, Jorge "DJ Joker" Elvira

On August 1st, our world was turned upside down. Jorge was rushed to the hospital, and after several tests, doctors told us he needed an emergency quadruple bypass heart surgery to save his life. We also learned that his heart is only functioning at 30%, making his recovery even more critical. The surgery was successful, but his healing journey will be long and challenging.

Just 6 weeks before this happened, we had put all of our savings into our new home and moved in — never imagining we would be facing a medical crisis like this so soon.

Jorge is the heart of our family — a loving husband, a wonderful father to our boys Nicco and Valentino, and a friend to so many. He has always been the first to lend a helping hand, never asking for anything in return. Now, it’s our turn to support him as he focuses on healing and regaining his strength.

To care for him during this critical recovery period, I will be at home assisting with his daily needs and ensuring he can rest and recover without added stress. Between medical bills, rehab, follow-up care, medications, loss of income, and adjusting to our new home, the financial burden is overwhelming. Your support will help relieve these worries so Jorge can have a peaceful, stress-free recovery.
