Johnny is a bright, kind, and funny almost-11-year-old who loves swimming in the lake, playing football and lacrosse, gaming with friends, hanging with his dog Dixie, and cheering on the Miami Dolphins and NJ Devils.

He was a typical kid—until early September, when they took him to the hospital after multiple doctor visits for fevers that wouldn’t go away. There, the Sibbald family heard the news no parent should ever face: Johnny has leukemia. In an instant, Lisa and Mike’s world was turned upside down.

Johnny now faces a long road of chemotherapy, spinal taps, frequent hospital stays, and the harsh side effects of the treatments. The Sibbalds are strong and hopeful, but the financial strain is unpredictable and real.
