Please Help Me Support John & Lisa Ingram!

To all of my wonderful Facebook friends :

I’ve never done this before y’all, so please bear with me.  I’ll just speak from the heart, tell this story, and hope you’ll all take a moment to hear me out.  Thank you so much.

One of my dearest and best friends, John Ingram, was just rushed to the emergency room with chest pains, and much to everyone’s surprise they told him that he needed immediate TRIPLE BYPASS surgery, and was lucky he got there when he did! They found that he had already had TWO heart attacks (he never had any idea!), and had 100% blockage in 2 of his arteries and 80% blockage in a third. The doctors were amazed that he was even “still with us“! Lucky, lucky man. Some of you may know him from Ingram‘s Handyman Service in Greers Ferry. He’s one of the hardest working and most honest men I’ve ever known. Not to mention my family’s one and only go-to painter for everything! We call him our personal Rembrandt, and wouldn’t trust anyone else. He and his sweet wife, Lisa, have been completely caught off guard by this medical emergency, as you might imagine. And I can tell are both still in shock, as we speak. John and Lisa are longtime residents of Greers Ferry, and are always the first people in line to help others in our community who are ever in need ♥️.

I sincerely do know this past year has been tough on everyone, but I’m humbly asking all of you to please help me rally around them, now that they need support the most. They truly deserve it! Once John gets home from the hospital, he must undergo at LEAST 3-4 full months of rehabilitation and has been instructed by the heart surgeon that he’s “completely forbidden to even THINK about getting “back to work“ until cleared by them! For those of you who know John (and how industrious and energetic he is), you know that it’s already killing him just thinkIng about it! But the stress and worry of making a living and providing for his family while he’s down and recuperating is the very last thing he needs right now!  John is in surgery LITERALLY as I’m posting this.  And Lisa just texted me from the waiting room, on pins and needles, just watching the clock:((

So to all my wonderful friends, to John’s and Lisa’s, and to our always amazingly supportive communities of Van Buren and Cleburne Counties.... I’m asking that you please help, in any possible way you might be able to, by donating to this GoFundMe account for John. And even to all of you who are receiving this notice who don’t know John personally... I promise you that you would love him if you did and would be grateful to be lucky enough to call him a friend! Any amount you might be able to give, no matter how small you might think it is, will mean the WORLD to me. And will for both John and Lisa, as well.
