My youngest cousin Joey suffered an unexpected life threatening medical event on June 25th and has been fighting for his life since. He is on life support and although making positive strides, the doctors warn that he has a very long road ahead. These past 2 months have been extremely difficult for our whole family especially his mother, who has been at his side everyday. Joey and his girlfriend, Maria, have 2 small children, Joey Jr (just turned 2) and Jayden (5 months); Joey is the sole financial provider and it has been challenging for Maria and the family to maintain household expenses while caring for 2 children. With the expectation that the recovery process could last more than a year, the family is asking for any help that could ease the financial burden for Maria and Joey during this time. Prayers and healing thoughts are also requested as we believe in the power of prayer and Joey is not out of the woods.
