Joe is a dedicated father, friend and service manager who has spent the last three years fighting for his life after being diagnosed with stomach adenocarcinoma, which is an aggressive form of cancer. As you can imagine, this has been a life-altering and emotional time for Joe and his family. Yet still, he has come to work daily and provided amazing service to his residents. He was the recipient of the 2023 Service Manager of the year award for CAPREIT and also received a National Maintenance legend award from HD Supply in 2024.

Unfortunately for his residents and work family, the time has come for Joe to prioritize treatment and his health. While we are fully supportive of this necessary step, we also know it comes with financial challenges. Medical expenses, daily living costs, and the loss of regular income can quickly become overwhelming.

Joe is not just a valued employee; he is a positive force in our workplace and community—always willing to lend a hand, share a smile, or go the extra mile. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.
