Please help support Honeybuns life saving surgery

This is my handsome man Honeybun aka Chicken Nugget and he means absolutely everything to me. He is 4 years old and has so much more life to live. I took him to the vet because he wasn’t eating, not even his favorite snacks. I thought it was going to be an easy fix, but it turns out he has a fever of 105 and he has fluid around one of his lungs. After a $600 visit and some antibiotics, I was told I would need for him to go and get that fluid sampled ASAP and get the fluid drained immediately in a hospital setting, or it will get drastically worse. The cost of that would be close to or a little more than $3500, which is something I cannot in any way come up with in a few days. This is my best friend, and he means the absolute world to me. I cannot lose him, and I hate to see him in this much discomfort. Please, if you can donate, any amount helps, and/or share, I would appreciate it so much. Please help me save my chunky man

UPDATE: My chunky boy was brought to MSPCA where he had his chest tapped and drained with the help of the donations I have received so far. Thank you to everyone who donated as it’s been an extreme help. He is breathing a lot better and he’s now eating and drinking! The vet was able to come to the conclusion that the fluid is not caused by lymphoma and most likely not heart disease as his follow up x ray is clear and his heart looks great (it’s all the love he has to give that keeps it strong) the next steps will most likely be to do a ct scan and possibly some further testing. He will also unfortunately most likely need his lung drained again in about 7-10 days because the underlying cause of this fluid is not determined so it will probably accumulate again. This is going to be extremely expensive and it’s something I will need help with.
