My Emma was in a car accident on April 18, 2024. She suffered extensive injuries and was flown to Inova Fairfax hospital.

We have insurance and the driver has insurance but there are many things insurance does not cover. Items like the hospital co-pay, gas money to drive to the hospital (thankfully some family members helped us with this), food for the family at the hospital, and gas to drive to the rehabilitation facility.

Emma will be released from the rehab facility and new expenses are upcoming such as home wheelchair ramp(s), proper wheelchair cushions, gas to doctor appointments and physical therapy, etc.
