Hi everyone, my name is Heather and I am a good close friend of the family. On April 9, 2018, Chris and Adrienne took Emma to her doctor because she wasn't feeling well. They did some blood work while she was there. On April 10, 2018, Emma's test results came back and showed that her white blood cell count was low and that they needed to take her to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). Around 9pm that night, they received the news that Emma has Leukemia. On April 12, 2018, they did a spinal and lumbar procedure. Emma has had 3 rounds of chemo since then. Adrienne needs to be home with Emma as much as possible. There will be intense treatments for the next 6-8 months. Let's rally together and support them!
