Please help support Doug Adams heart recovery journey!

Hi, my name is Amy. My mother and I have started this GoFundMe for my big brother, Doug Adams. We are trying to raise money for him due to a very unexpected diagnosis after visiting the ER for trouble breathing. He was admitted immediately on Tuesday, Sept 24th. He was diagnosed with a large blood clot larger than a golf ball in his heart. If it should become dislodged, it can lead to a massive stroke or heart attack. His heart was only working at 24% at the time. His heart rate was 179 when he got to the hospital. It's staying around 120, and his heart is currently only working at 12%. The meds they have him on are making his blood pressure go down. They are desperately trying to find a happy medium. We are going on day 12. They say he has congestive heart failure. The doctors have him on blood thinners to shrink the blood clot, then they want to shock his heart to see if that will make both sides of his heart work properly again. But they can't do that until the blood clot is gone. They will check it in 7 weeks from now. One side is beating too fast, the other not fast enough. He can't breathe due to fluid around his lungs from the stress on his heart. As if this isn't enough, he contracted COVID yesterday.

Please keep my brother in your prayers, and that the medicine works to shrink the blood clot. He is very weak right now.

All we can do is wait and pray!!!
