Meet Dezi, our family angel and light. She is 3 years young, full of pure joy, innocence, unconditional love, and beauty. She brings my whole family comfort and friendship through cuddles being the Rory to my Lorelai while watching Gilmore Girls, protection and motivation as we go on our walks that turn into runs outside, and kisses that heal our pain teaching us there is such a thing as unconditional love; for everything that you do Dezi we are forever grateful for.

Unfortunately, Dezi has consistently had seizures throughout her life, and although she has been given different medications to assist with them, nothing has helped to fully make them go away and they have only gotten worse and now have become more frequent. This past Saturday through Monday night she endured over 20 seizures sporadically and has been in emergency care. The vet informed us this many seizures has now caused neurological damage, and she has been unable to gain full mobility on her own. Dezi is staying for further examination to ensure another seizure does not occur and if one does, she is at least nearby emergency medication. If she does not have additional seizures this week the vet has indicated she may be able to return home and have a slow recovery with physical therapy, exams and bloodwork every 3-6 months.

We want Dezi to receive the medical attention and assistance she needs right now without hesitation, and we are trying to remain hopeful to bring her home and start her road to recovery. The bills so far and forthcoming for her tests, care, and stay are financially overwhelming, and we are asking you to please help us with any donation your heart feels inclined to. Anything helps and we appreciate your support and love in trying to help our baby.

Dezi, you are the strongest girl I know, and we are praying every day that you get to come back home with us. We wish we could take away your pain pretty girl, but just know we are right beside you & are fighting for your health every day. I hope to see your sweet blue eyes light up with joy again soon.
