My name is Dante Stefono, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My family in Cebu, Philippines, has been severely affected by the recent 6.9 earthquakes and Typhoon Kalmaegi that just struck their region. The storm caused massive flooding and destruction—homes were torn apart, power, WiFi, and water have been lost, and essential supplies are running low, including food and clothing.

There is now word of a second hurricane about to hit the island of Cebu in another couple of days, which would be devastating.

My wife, her siblings, and relatives (34 total people in her family) are now struggling to recover from the devastation. Their homes were badly damaged, and most of their belongings were destroyed.

Many homes have been damaged or completely washed away. Families have lost not only their houses, but also clothing, food supplies, and essential belongings needed for daily life. Right now, some families are staying with neighbors, relatives, or in temporary shelters with limited resources. The reality is that it will take them time to rebuild, especially for those who lost everything and have no steady income to start over with. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward purchasing and delivering these necessities to families and friends in Cotcot, & Compostela. We’ll be sharing updates, photos, and receipts so you can see where the help is going. If you are unable to donate, sharing this link means a lot.
