Please Help Support Cody's Recovery!

Hi, my name is Dori and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my son, Cody Thompson.

On Friday evening, Cody was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. An off duty fire fighter saw the accident and rushed into action to give Cody CPR as he was not breathing. Thankfully, he was able to revive him, and he was immediately transported to Lawrence Medical Hospital.

Cody has suffered three brain bleeds and a significant bruise on the left side of his brain. At this point, we don’t know what the future holds. Due to heavy sedation, doctors are waiting to perform an MRI to understand the full extent of his injuries.

What we do know is that Cody will be out of work for quite some time — if he’s even able to return. He also does not have insurance, which makes this situation even more difficult. Between the extended hospital stay, future rehabilitation, and mounting medical expenses, we’re reaching out to our community for help.

This GoFundMe was created to support Cody through this incredibly tough time. Every donation will go directly into an account created for Cody for his medical expenses, recovery, and living costs during this period.
