Hi Friends and Family,

My dear friend and co-worker Catalina and her family, are in need of some financial assistance, over the next few months. Catalina was diagnosed with a leaky heart valve over the summer, and is undergoing surgery to repair it, or possibly replace the valve, on August 29th. With the help of her older children Yvette and Alfredo, her younger children Angel, Adrian & Andres will be cared for, while Cat heals. Her Doctors advise her to stay off of work for 2-3 months.

She currently works two jobs, one of which I work with her at. I have known Catalina (Cat, we lovingly call her) for over 5 years, and my other colleagues have known her for well over 15 years. She is proud and she is kind. She is one of the hardest working women we have ever met!! We have asked her permission to reach out for help, on her behalf, to lift some of the financial burden off of her and her family, during this stressful time as she heals. She would NEVER ask for help on her own. She reluctantly has allowed us, her work family(myself, Lisa and Celia) to set up a Go Fund Me page.

Any donation is greatly appreciated, and will go toward paying for her utilities, mortgage, gas for her older children to drive the younger kids to and from school, and any other bills/groceries.
