Hello brothers and sisters, blessings and grace to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I am brother Joseph Del Valle, and I'm organizing this gofundme because about a month ago I was sent by the Lord Jesus to go and be a light in the Alligator Alcatraz and work there. At my time there I had the blessing of meeting many exceptional faithful men of God who were being detained and deported and despite their circumstances were remaining faithful and praising and worshipping the the Lord most High, Jesus Christ, even while in cages. In the cell unit I was working I met a group of men who were organizing nightly prayer, worship and Bible reading with limited to no resources. 1 large unit, divided into 8 sections, over 200 men and no speaker limited Bibles and many faithful and attentive worshippers and listeners crowding and pressing the cells and cages just to be able to hear and participate. I had the blessing of meeting and serving with some of these men the word of the Lord. One of these brothers' name is Carlos (Carlitos) Rodriguez. This brother faced wrongful detainment and many other injustices from many officials of the US Government. He was detained for months with little to no explanation or information, he is a fisherman who was fishing off the coast of Venezuela when he described a large US vessel seized him and his boat, destroyed it and had him detained for weeks being transferred from location to location until eventually landing at Alligator Alcatraz where I had the blessing of crossing paths and meeting him. Throughout all that time unfortunately Carlitos was not able to obviously work or provide and sustain his family while detained and to make matters worse his son was involved in a bad motorcycle accident sustaining facial fractures and nerve injuries to the face that if not operated can cause the loss of vision from one of his eyes because of nerve damage. Brother Carlos and brother Selbin a fellowship and worship leader at the detention center reached out for help on Carlos behalf for funds to help cover his sons surgery. Brothers and sister please help me help this brother for the glory and honor of the Lord Jesus Christ. Brother Carlitos informed me that the surgery is about 2000 dollars. Together with the help of the Lord we can raise this to help carry this brothers burden. I'm leaving the cap at 5000 because although he did not ask I know this brother went months without working and can use additional help. The Lord commanded us that if any man asks you to go a mile, go with him two. With that said please do not feel pressured or obligated because all that I've written, please let it be done with a cheerful heart, love for our brother and neighbor and above all for the glory of the King of kings Jesus Christ.
