Hi everyone. Our sweet Bessie needs your help. The last four days we’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong with her. We have been to three different vets with no answers. Bessie hasn’t ate, drank water or pooped since Thursday (6/19). After going to three different vets and an emergency vet in Buffalo we finally got answer. She has a blockage in her intestine and we are on our way to surgery. We have already spent almost 4000 dollars on all the testing and imaging without paying for surgery yet.

Bessie is the sweetest dog. Anyone who knows her will tell you how sweet she is. She Loves everyone. Our daughters adore her.

we estimate surgery will be around 3000 dollars and will know for sure in a few hours after it’s all said and done.

update: she’s home finally!! I posted a pic of her when we brought her home from surgery. She is doing ok right now just completely out of it from being under anesthesia. Poor puppers.

Update: we Brought Bessie home last night and it wasn’t too good. We had to bring her back to the vet this morning to get her meds and fluids in because she still isn’t drinking or eating. She didn’t move once during night and was panting non stop. We need your prayers people. And thank you again for everyone who’s donated. I can not say that enough.

UPDATE: We just brought Bessie home from the vet and now she’s battling a very bad case of pneumonia too. This dog can not catch a freaking break. So now’s she on three different antibiotics to aggressively attack the pneumonia. We just want our puppers back to normal!! Thank you again to everyone who has donated. hopefully tonight goes better than last night.

Update: (6/27) Bessie finally spent a full day home and didn’t have to get any IV treatment for meds or fluids. She’s still battling this pneumonia but she’s finally starting to eat a little here and there. All she does is sleep but that’s what she needs. I still can’t believe the amount of people that donated for Bessie. We appreciate it so much. Thank you to everyone that has helped chip away at this crazy vet bill.
