Please Help Support Belinda through her Cancer Journey

Hi everyone, my name is Tracy Heckman. My friend Judy Brantley and I are starting this fundraiser for our sweet friend Belinda Egan (Cantu).

About 3 weeks ago, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It is a very aggressive cancer and her treatments have already started…treatment will take anywhere from 3-6 months

Belinda is self employed and is only able to work part time while undergoing her treatments. Judy and I thought this GoFundMe would be the best way to help her with any medical expenses or financial worries she may have during this fight. One less thing that she and her family will have to worry about.

Below is a more detailed description on the type of cancer she is battling and her treatment plan at this time.

Triple Negative Breast Cancer,

which means the cancer is not hormone-driven. It is an aggressive cancer with limited treatment options.

It’s Stage 2, with a Tumor measuring 5.53 cm and 6.4 cm, has no lymph node involvement and no metastasis.

Standard treatment is Chemo, Double Mastectomy, and Radiation.

However, Belinda is undergoing treatment at Nature Works Best Cancer Clinic in Tempe, AZ.

Next is Cryoablation surgery on Thursday, May 30th. Cryoablation is a Freeze-Thaw Freeze Cycle. The procedure takes about 3-4 hours. They create an Ice ball around the tumor using liquid nitrogen at 274 degrees below zero, allow it to thaw, and then do it again. This kills the cancer and all abnormal tissue, which reabsorbs into the body and gets flushed out.

She will then continue the IV Nutraceuticals along with Diet and lifestyle changes and continue to test and monitor the results of the Cryoablation.
