A member of our family, who is only five years old, was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). DIPG is a tumor in the brainstem that most often affects children. It interferes with basic functions like movement and breathing, and is very difficult to treat. The family is now spending countless hours in the hospital, doing everything they can to support their little boy. His parents are facing an incredibly difficult journey, doing everything they can to support their little boy while also caring for their two other young children at home. Balancing hospital visits, emotional stress, and the needs of their family has been overwhelming, especially as they’ve had to miss work to be by his side.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward medical treatments, travel expenses to and from the hospital, and daily living costs that have become difficult to manage while the parents are unable to work. Every dollar will help ease the burden and allow them to focus on what matters most—caring for their child and making the most of the time they have together.
