On Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, Alexis Chesley was in a terrible car accident that changed everything. She was evaluated on-site by an incredible EMS crew and ultimately airlifted to Washington Regional, where she was admitted to the ICU and underwent her first surgery for her injuries.

By the grace of God, Alexis survived, but she has a very long and difficult road to recovery ahead. She now requires additional surgeries and will be transferred to Tulsa for specialized care.

Alexis is a fighter. Her strength and spirit have amazed everyone who loves her, but her pain is severe, and the road ahead is long and uncertain. Her family and friends have been by her side as much as possible, but the emotional and financial strain is becoming overwhelming. The costs of gas, food, lodging, and other necessities, on top of what Alexis will need for her healing, are adding up quickly.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease that burden and allow her family to focus on what matters most: being there for Alexis as she recovers.
