Please help a teacher and single mom battle cancer.

Hello. First and foremost, I want you to know that asking for financial assistance is by far the hardest thing I have ever done.

I am an elementary school teacher, and I absolutely love my job. This past December, I was having severe pain all over my body, and I was concerned. It was unlike anything I have ever experienced. Several scans and MRIs confirmed that I have colon cancer. My surgeon would not be able to perform the very invasive surgery that I needed to save my life, until my body was strong enough.

On July 17th, I had my surgery, and I am on complete bed rest for 6-8 weeks. This recovery I am experiencing from having my colon repaired, and a large amount of my intestinal tract removed has been one of the absolute hardest, and most painful things I’ve ever experienced.

I am a single mother of four. This entire year, I have been able to use my cleaning business that I started when I was in graduate school to pay for our rent and utilities. Now that I have had my surgery, I am getting very behind on my personal and medical bills.

If anyone would be willing to help me through this difficult time, I would forever be grateful!! Any amount of money would be cherished. I know God will provide...sometimes the only way through a nightmare like this is to suck it up and ask for help. Asking people for help in any kind of way is so stressful.
