Henlo!
My name is Zoe and this last week I have had my mum worried because I’ve not been eating or pooping regularly and am quite lethargic. Mum took me to a clinic where the smart humans at The Animal Hospital at Murdoch ran tests and said I have something called Liver Disease? Judging by the water falling from mum’s face, I don’t think that is very good? It’s okay, I’ll help lick the tears!
I know mum is concerned for my health, but my brother Bear and I want to make sure mum is okay during my treatment. Every time mum visits the clinic she swipes a plastic card and I’ve heard the other Borks say that those cards have limited swipes until they can’t swipe anymore?
Currently I’m being trialed with treatment options, but I’m not responding as well as was expected. Mum brought Bear to the clinic and I perked up a bit. What would really perk me up, is knowing that mum has support from her fur-iends!
My mum never wants for anything. She tells me she works hard so Bear and I can live the good life! I’m pretty sure Bear and I are pampered more often than mum. I see on the socials that people get their eyebrows, nails & hair done. But not mum, she makes sure us dogs and our horse brother Dusty are cared for before she looks after herself.
This is where we ask for your sup-paw-t! Un-fur-tunately the current trials I’m on is not a long term treatment option. I would love the chance to go on more walks, meet more borks and sniff more tree stalks! The smart people say with more testing, including a biopsy that needs lots of plastic card swipes, that my chance of survival will improve.
Diamonds aren’t my mum’s best friend, us dogs are. And we love her too.
Thank you so mush,
Zoe x
