This is Steve. He is 6 months old and desperately needs your help. Me and my best friend adopted Steve when he was 8 weeks old. He was a happy and healthy little kitty who was full of life. We shared our love for Steve and his crazy personality on TikTok (@canadian_steve), where he gained over 60k followers who loved to watch him grow from the tiny fluffy little kitten he was, to a full of life 6 month old who loves to go on outdoor adventures with his pawrents!!

Throughout this week, our happy, playful kitten took a turn for the worst and stopped eating, experiencing seizure symptoms and noticed both of his eyes were very white and cloudy. This morning we took him to the emergency animal hospital, and he was diagnosed with FIP. FIP (Feline Infectious Disease) is a viral disease that is a strain of Corona Virus that, until very recently, was found to have no cure and a 100% fatality rate. We were completely devastated, and our world was turned upside down, knowing our once energetic and full-of-life kitten now had a death sentence.

Our vet informed us about a viral treatment called GS-441524 which we are able to access in Canada that has a very high chance of survival if treated early. This medication is costly and will cost us over $6,000 CAD. We are determined to fight for Steve and give him the best chance of surviving and living a long and healthy life.
