Hi, I'm Stan, from Chicago. I promised myself I wouldn't do this, but here I am.

I have had a very rough time since 2018, between being carjacked, wrecking that car, going through COVID 3 times and still suffering the aftereffects, leaving one job and losing two others, being evicted and currently unhoused permanently, and suffering from debilitating arthritis.

Now, I face possibly needing a left knee replacement while trying to solve my depression and anxiety, as I still look for work and housing and try to qualify for disability. It's been too much.

I'm asking for your help, please. Obviously the most pressing need is financial, as I try to keep my cell phone running, plus my storage unit and money for bus passes. So I ask you to please help me.

I don't want to be a further drain on family or friends. I hate asking, but here I am. And I understand if you are looking for a different type of cause to support. A lot of people need help.
